second year anniversary

My husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary this weekend. It was nice to get away, and to be able to focus on us for a change. I didn't realize how much I needed a mini-vacation until we were out the door and driving down the road. What started as a high school romance, slowly over a period of eleven years blossomed into a deeply committed relationship between two people. It hasn't always been easy, but it has been worth it every step of the way. I am thankful for my husband, he is my teammate and my best friend.
